Word on the street is that Brian McKnight has just been picked up by The CW for a late night talk show. What could he possibly have to talk about… We have no clue. Check out the details after the jump.Litton Entertainment announced that CW Plus has added THE BRIAN McKNIGHT SHOW to their weekend lineup for Fall 2009. The one-hour weekly entertainment show will feature live performances from the hottest Hollywood stars, musicians, athletes and comedians and bring fresh, original content to weekend audiences.

Wendy Williams Will Leave Radio Show Next Week

It was announced today that our favorite Tranny will be leaving her syndicated radio show on WBLS to focus on her new TV show
full time. It has been reported that Wendy will be leaving the show on July 31st. In regards to the abrupt departure, Wendy states:
“I want to tell all of my fans that after July 31st, I will no longer be doing a show with WBLS,” Williams said. “I really was blessed to have a broadcast home in NY on radio for the past 7 years, and I want to thank everyone who supported me. I have one of the best jobs in the world. Making a difference in the lives of my fans made all the difference to me, and I look forward to doing the same thing in my new role as a TV host. My hope is that you will do your best to find me on your remote so I can continue to entertain and inform you each and every day.”
Although WBLS says they are saddened to see her leave, I’m sure they are counting their lucky stars that she didn’t smack them with a huge bill after that sexual harassment case involving her hubby and former employee, Nicole Spence.

Nas was Drunk While Kelis Delivered Baby Knight

New Mommy Kelis tweeted that it was a painful 3 days of labor. She also stated that baby Knight Jones is 7.8 lbs and is kinda perfect. With all the hoopla going on in regards to Nas being denied visitation, her reps released a statement… Kelis gave birth to Knight Jones last night on July 22nd around 9PM, weighing a healthy 7.8 lbs. The beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful. This was a natural birth and Kelis has been in labor since early Monday morning around 2AM. Knight was delivered in a NYC hospital with her mother and sister in the room. This is the mother’s first child.”
According to other sources, Nas was drunk when he entered the hospital to join Kelis during labor and that’s the reason he was not allowed to be apart of his son’s delivery. Come on Nas GET IT TOGETHER

This will make baby number six for Akon who claims he loves kids and never runs away from his responsibility. When asked about his many children he said:

I have just learned that the Beastie Boys will be postponing their up coming tour Hot Sauce Committee Part 1, after learning that a cancerous tumor was found in band member Adam “MCA” Yauch.
With the tumor being found early on, it can be treated with surgery and several weeks of treatment. Although the tumor doesn’t impact Yauch’s vocal chords at all, his other group members want for him to focus on staying healthy and recovering.

So what I did was on Aug 1st thru 3rd, I’m sending these kids to Disney World, and then to a Disney water park. I want them to know that for every act of evil that a few people will throw at you, there are millions more who will do something kind for them. This is all about the kids."

Almost 20 years after the release of their first album, En Vogue have reunited. All four members appeared at the Essence Music festival in New Orleans on Sunday, performing old hits, promising a new album, and even talking up a reality TV show.

Created by producers Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy, En Vogue formed the template for female R&B groups in the 90s. The quartet of singers, Cindy Herron-Bragg, Terry Ellis, Dawn Robinson and Maxine Jones, sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and enjoyed seven gold singles in the US. But for all their successes, En Vogue ultimately became the 'other' R&B group, dwarfed by acts like TLC and, later, Destiny's Child.

Though En Vogue recorded albums in 2002 and 2004, they were released on independent labels and sold poorly.
Reunited R&B group Envogue are eager to document their comeback with a reality tv show, their album is to be released later this year or early next year.

The new song from Hova, is targeting the rappers and singers that use the technology of the auto tune. I'm just waiting for all the drama to unfold and for an artist to stand up to the "king" and come out with a dis song. A trend that T.Pain started has been used by artist like Lil.Wayne,Kanye West,Snoop Dogg,& Tyga. Personally I like it when they use auto tune, especially when T.Pain does it. Police confirmed that former 36 year old quaterback for the Tennessee Titian Steve McNair, was shot dead in his sleep by his 20 year old girlfriend Sahel Kazemi. She was out of control and she shot McNair 4 times with a 9mm semiautomatic pistol while he was asleep on the sofa, and then she turned the gun on herself.

She had told a friend on Friday " my life is a ball of shit, I should end it". She was so sure that McNair was going to divorce his wife of 12 years, that she was ready to move in with him. There was no report of divorce records, McNair's wife didnt even know about the girl.

The Memorial Service is set for Thursday in Nashville, the funeral is Saturday in Mississippi.
