Police confirmed that former 36 year old quaterback for the Tennessee Titian Steve McNair, was shot dead in his sleep by his 20 year old girlfriend Sahel Kazemi. She was out of control and she shot McNair 4 times with a 9mm semiautomatic pistol while he was asleep on the sofa, and then she turned the gun on herself.

She had told a friend on Friday " my life is a ball of shit, I should end it". She was so sure that McNair was going to divorce his wife of 12 years, that she was ready to move in with him. There was no report of divorce records, McNair's wife didnt even know about the girl.

The Memorial Service is set for Thursday in Nashville, the funeral is Saturday in Mississippi.
